Every single song in this scene just sounds the same
It’s all just whining about some girl who ran away
Maybe things ended badly but that’s okay
‘Cause if it had to end then things weren’t really ever that great

It’s not set in stone that every girl will break your heart
And if they do, take a look in the mirror and see that you played a part
It’s not fair to those with good intentions when you always blame someone else
So don’t defend pop-punk - if you can’t defend yourself

It seems so simple when it’s put into a song
It’s black and white; you’re right and she was wrong
But everyone makes mistakes and you’re just the same
So how can you justify letting someone else take all the blame?
